Just Another Blog Post

Weight loss goal:  FAIL.

Still going to the East Coast next week.  Will be awesome no matter what.

I really don't have anything profound to talk about.  I'm not depressed or anything like that, but the day-to-day is starting to seem blah.

Had a great camping trip this weekend.  So far the most fun one yet.

My etsy shop got some play by a blogger called Whatcha Swatchin.  Pretty cool.  Speaking of my etsy shop, there is going to be a killer update on Sunday before I go on vacation.  I have a lot of great ideas going on in my head so hopefully this will get me out of my funk.

I've been knitting a blanket for the wedding.  I'm 4/6 complete.  Yikes!  It's next Saturday.  Lucky for me I have a 12 hour plane ride and 1 whole day before the wedding to complete it.

That's really all for now.  Have a great time!

Things to Consider

I went to a party last weekend and I know it was inevitable, but I saw someone I wish I hadn't. The week didn't go too well after that, but I made it through.

I am going to the east coast in June, and have set myself a goal if losing 30-50 pounds by then. I also by next year would like to run the Honolulu Marathon. I am right on my way as far as I can tell as I went running 5 days this week. Ok when I say run, I mean jog. And walking when I can't possibly jog anymore. But this week I went .75 miles before stopping, so that is great. I have created a daily chart to log my weight. The goal is 3-5lbs a week.

Wish me luck.

A Whole New Year

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here.  I have been keeping to myself lately.  Some major things, at least in my mind, happened the past few months and I feel finally rid of a huge burden.  What is sad, I didn't see it as a burden until others pointed out how I've lost myself over the years.  So I took it upon myself to let go.  And let go I did.

I learned how to knit socks.  Two of them.  At the same time.  Starting from the toe.  It's such a great technique and it prevents me from having a whole lot of single socks.  So that's accoplishment one.

Accomplishment two:  I can now run 1/2 mile straight.  Go me.

Accomplishment three:  I danced at a bar.  I haven't danced in years.

Accomplishment four:  I'm settling the debt I've been running from.  Not as hard as I thought.  It's quite liberating if you ask me.

Accomplishment five:  I've been hiking.  I LOVE hiking.

I feel good about this year.

I've even created some new stitch markers, made a few pairs of earrings, and stopped watching TV.  I figured there's so much more to do than sit around and watch TV.

And there is.
